Description

This light bodied and aromatic tea hails from the Nuwara Eliya region - located at the very top of the central highlands of Ceylon. The tea gardens, lying at an altitude of over 5000 feet, are often draped with fine droplets of mist while wafts of cool mountain air regularly refresh the tender leaves. These unique conditions coupled with warm sunshine help to create teas with an exceptional bright floral aroma. Quite distinctively, infusions from this region are amber coloured and the dry leaf appears greenish.
